DSP Misses VVR –Shows Up For F2

The video teaser of the song ‘Rechipodham Brother’ gave us a hint and the complete song makes it clear, the predictable yet hummable numbers that Devi Sri Prasad usually comes up with is given to F2.

Given the current musical form of Devi Sri Prasad who has been churning out one routine number after other, not much was expected from either of the albums Vinaya Vidheya Rama and F2. It was more to do with the track record of the director’s, Boyapati Sreenu and Anil Ravipudi than DSP as the musician still gives more than decent numbers for Sukumar and manages to surprise few other times with good directors known for musical output.

It is the “Rechipodham Brother” kind of routine, repetitive and passable numbers that were expected from Vinaya Vidheya Rama, but DSP didn’t even get to that zone. Maybe that’s what the music director thinks can be given to the mass entertainer. So far F2 (Fun N Frustration) is getting it all right and creating good buzz. Let’s see what is in store next?
