Prefer working with younger heroes: Swathi Reddy

Swathi Reddy never demands that she doesn’t want to work with senior heroes. But it’s the younger lot who express interest to work with her mostly, and, therefore, she prefers working with them than anybody else. She says all her films so far have been with younger heroes and it has worked in her favour. She feels she should continue doing that.

Why doesn’t want to work with senior heroes? She feels she can’t do what most top heroines do. She’s content doing films opposite young heroes. She follows a simple policy that she should be approached by a film or a filmmaker instead of she going after a project or star to work with. Swathi, who started her career from TV, plans to go back to it but slowly. She feels television is strenuous and she can only bear that if she gets to do something hatke.

A year after super hit Swamy Ra Ra, Swathi has a release in Telugu in the form of ‘Bangaru Kodi Petta’. In this interim, she was busy working in Tamil and Malayalam. She says it was too long a wait and she missed mouthing her lines in Telugu. Swathi recently finished shooting for Telugu film Karthikeya.
