Only 3 cuts from Censor for this biggie!

Some film makers and production houses have set up high standards for themselves with their previous movies that even only three cuts for their movie seems to be a big thing. Rajshree Productions and film maker Sooraj Bharjatya belong to the mentioned category.

Rajshree Productions upcoming movie ‘Prem ratan Dhan Payo’ (Prem Leela in Telugu) starring Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor in the lead has completed its Censor formalities on Friday. But the censor has suggested three cuts and after which the film was rated ‘U’.

It’s astonishing as among the three cuts, two cuts are for using derogatory word ‘chinar’ twice in the dialogues and one more cut for a line in a song. Interestingly, the line comes in an Antakshari sequence and the that line is a part of another film’s song which was passed by our own Censor Board long ago. Hmm.
