Pressure Will Shift to Akkineni Hero Soon

Among the recent releases, ‘Goodachari’ indeed turned out to be a super hit and though ‘Chi La Sow’ didn’t work commercially, director Rahul Ravindran received praises for his efforts. Currently, it’s Vijay Deverakonda’s ‘Geetha Govindam’ that is ruling the box-office and on the way to becoming a blockbuster.

Besides these good movies, we had several duds recently and most of them are small films that failed to impress the audiences. Naga Chaitanya‘s ‘Shailaja Reddy Alludu’ is releasing in two weeks from now, i.e., on 31st August. As it is coming from Maruthi after ‘Mahanubhavudu’, the movie is carrying decent expectations on it.

Maruthi is known for delivering super hit films with second league heroes. So, the focus will soon shift on to this movie once the craze on ‘Geetha Govindam’ subsides. We have to wait and see if Maruthi continues the same with Chay Akkineni and also if the Akkineni hero delivers with a subject that has been a cakewalk genre for his father, Nagarjuna?
