Pretty Telugu Heroine Stayed Away from Malayali Movies?

Anupama Parameshwaran came to the Telugu Film Industry definitely because of the popularity she gained with her debut Malayalam blockbuster ‘Premam’ in which she played the cute teenage girl Mary with thick curly hair.

However, she shared the reason behind not doing many Malayalam movie and preferring Telugu movies right after her Malayalam debut. She was trolled because she got a lot of exposure despite the fact that she has relatively got very little screen time in the movie.

Being naive in the initial stages of the career, she couldn’t take the trolls as she was hurt and then, came offers from Telugu that could prove her mettle as an actor. So, she rejected Malayalam movies back then and now, she has done only four Malayalam movie out of the movies in her career, till date.

Of course, she is happy to be back in the movies of her mother tongue and we even know that she was an assistant director for the Malayalam movie ‘Maniyarayile Ashokan’ besides playing an important character in it.
