Dhurandhar 2-Toxic Clash: One More Big Film Enters Race?

The upcoming box office clash between Toxic and Dhurandhar 2 is getting more intense. Now, Ryan Gosling’s much-awaited film Project Hail Mary has entered the race, raising concerns about a three-way theatrical battle in India.

Project Hail Mary is said to be a sci-fi drama centred on communication between humans and aliens. The concept has generated strong curiosity among cinema lovers and industry watchers alike.

However, the film appears to have chosen a risky release window. It is scheduled to hit Indian theatres on 20 March, the same period when Toxic and Dhurandhar 2 are expected to dominate screens.

Reports suggest that PVR-INOX is considering postponing Project Hail Mary’s release to April 3. If the film sticks to the March 20 date, it could reportedly lose nearly 30 percent of its screens.

There are also concerns about IMAX availability. With Toxic and Dhurandhar 2 likely to secure premium formats, Project Hail Mary may lose access to key IMAX screens, impacting its overall box office collections in India.

While the three-way clash still has some uncertainty, it remains to be seen whether Ryan Gosling’s sci-fi spectacle can influence the crowded March release window.
