Project K Makers Misjudging Public Pulse?

Amid all the hype around Prabhas’ Project K, Deepika Padukone’s first look from the futuristic sci-fi film was finally unveiled. Vyjayanthi Movies dropped the first look of the actress.

The sepia-tinted first look has Deepika Padukone in an intense avatar. The response to Deepika’s first look has been pretty mixed. People on social media aren’t finding it anything special. The general response is that it could have been from any of Deepika Padukone’s films. No special trait of her character is visible in the first look.

On the other hand, there has also been criticism about Vyjayanthi Movies’ promotional strategies. Project K, which is being touted as a pan-World film bigger than the SS Rajamouli movies, is unable to engage fans with their poor marketing skills. It seems like they lack the knowledge of how to catch the public’s pulse.

The makers are also being unprofessional and taking the audience for granted. The first look of Deepika was announced to be released at 5 PM, but it got delayed by a few hours, and there was no proper explanation from the maker’s side. On top of that, the not-so-special first look further killed the excitement for the public.

Project K, directed by Nag Ashwin, is a very huge film, and such mistakes and carelessness can prove to be very costly in the larger picture.
