Promotions Restart With New ‘Weaker’ Title

We are in February and November has long gone past. That’s when Nikhil’s new flick Mudra, a remake of Tamil hit Kanithan was supposed to release initially. Then there was a talk about the delay to December, and it was followed by long silence.

The same continued until recently when a controversy regarding the title broke out. An old film with the same title as Mudra was out and the makers used the logo of Nikhil’s one. It irked the actor, and that led to words being thrown out on either side. Finally, better sense prevailed, and both parties moved on.

Now, the makers of Nikhil starrer have rechristened the flick as Arjun Suravaram, admittedly a weaker title than what it was previously. But the change in title and the subsequent exchange has put the movie back in audience’s mind which nullifies the effect of the new name. The promotions are going to start afresh with the new title. Arjun Suravaram stars Lavanya Tripathy in the female lead. The T Santhosh directorial will hit screens on March 29th.
