US BO: A Profitable Venture At Last

After a gap, the local distributors are going to see a profitable venture from Telugu films. It is none other than PSV Garuda Vega starring Rajasekhar, a Praveen Sattaru directorial.

The action thriller thanks to its positive reviews and word of mouth is slowly growing at the box office. As we have mentioned previously, the US rights have been snapped for peanuts, and hence the movie is going to breakeven by the end of the Saturday itself ($200 K is breakeven, it has already collected $93 K). The longer the run from then, the bigger the profits for the investors.

It will be a relief of sorts as past few weeks has seen multiple losing ventures. In fact, that has been the situation most of the year barring few exceptions. Unfortunately, the profits would be restricted to the US alone unless there is a dramatic pick up in the Telugu states. The opening was below par, and it needs a substantial growth as soon as possible.
