Can Blockbusters Be Made Just Like That?

The getup and the makeover were mind-blowing, the backdrop was impressive and Sukumar-Bunny combination was crazy. ‘Pushpa’ has all those things that might take to become a blockbuster. But, can blockbusters be made just like that?

There is an obvious comparison between Ram Charan’s role in ‘Rangasthalam’ and Allu Arjun’s in his upcoming movie ‘Pushpa’. Ram Charan delivered his career-best performance when he got a lifetime script on board.

Now, Allu Arjun seems to have been inspired by the same thing in search of a lifetime script as the director is Sukumar and the script with red sanders backdrop demands something rustic like in the case of ‘Rangasthalam’.

Not that anybody would doubt the performance calibre of stylish star Allu Arjun when it comes to delivering a memorable performance. We believe that blockbusters happen, they can’t be planned.

Comparisons between Ram Charan and the stylish star will be inevitable, and the latter has to prove that he has the potential when given a rustic movie in the form of a challenge. Let’s wait and see.
