PVP’s take on Small Film Vs Brahmotsavam

Though ‘Kshanam’ was declared a blockbuster, little did we know that the makers have invested as much for publicity as for making the movie. “It’s hard to draw audiences to theatres for small films. A lot of publicity is required”, says PVP.

Coming to ‘Brahmotsavam’, it’s not the case. Mahesh Babu’s star power is enough to draw audiences to theatres. The risk is very less. That is star power and PVP who produced both big and small films knows the difference for sure.

There is strong content in ‘Kshanam’. But PVP’s name was instrumental in promoting the movie. According to Adivi Shesh, PVP is the reason to get on board Adah Sharma to play the character of a 24-year old who has a kid.

This answers why PVP thinks small films are a risk while stars can sell their movies by attracting crowd big way.
