R.P Patnaik’s critically acclaimed directorial film Broker almost won him a national award. The film was not a commercial success, but earned rave reviews from critics as well as audiences. RP had directed as well as acted in the film.
Now, there’s news that he is likely to helm a sequel to it with Posani Krishna Murali in the lead. The director confirms the news that he is indeed planning to make a sequel, but it will take some time. He says Posani is one of the actors he has in mind, but hasn’t finalized him yet. He is also looking it roping in other actors as well.
Currently, R.P is busy working on his second English project. His English directorial debut Amy released worldwide Oct 1 on VOD and DVD. He says since he had already planned to work on an English film, his plan to make a Telugu film might take some more time.
