Rahman supports unpopular sentiments

Popular music director AR Rahman has expressed solidity and echoed similar sentiments as Aamir Khan. He is the first big name to officially make a statement after the star’s recent controversial statement.

Rahman had personally been at the centre of a protest recently when he had to face the wrath of a Muslim body. It issued a ‘fatwa’ against the star musician for composing in a film made as biography of Prophet Mohammed. Some unsavory comments were made on him during issue and the whole experience made him connect with the words of actor Aamir Khan.

Meanwhile a case has been launched on Aamir Khan on grounds of sedition. With the musician also supporting him could he also be at harm? Already Rahman’s support led to him being a big trending topic on social networking sites. One hopes it ends there itself.
