Rajamouli’s Father Denies Reshoot Rumours

According to writer Vijayendra Prasad, certain portions are yet to be shot as a part of the patchwork and hence, the rumours that the movie is going to be re-shot without director Krish Jagarlamudi’s involvement is false. This Kangana Ranaut starrer is expected to come on 25th January 2019.

Needless to say, that rumours started circulating that ‘Manikarnika’, the biopic on Rani Lakshmi Bai of Jhansi are being re-shot as the makers of the movie aren’t happy with certain portions of the movie. But, Rajamouli’s father said that he is very happy with the final output, the performances and the VFX works done and predicted that it is going to be a true blockbuster.

There is also ambiguity regarding the release date. While some reports claim that the makers want to avoid clashes with the biggies coming on Republic Day because there would be issues with procuring the number of screens for the movie which is made with high budget and needs a decent number of screens for its business perspective.
