Rajamouli’s first win against haters

The deletion of the theatrical trailer video of Baahubali from YouTube had become a major sensation yesterday what with everyone blaming someone for that happening. In the end one thing was clear though, if the video gets restored with original views, nothing wrong could be said on the part of the makers.

Today the trailer has been restored and so has the views been restored. It has thus restored the integrity and the pride of the makers as well morally. All those people accusing them for illegal practices had to finally shut up and eat humble pie.

Unfortunately this whole issue has also revealed the extreme of bitterness nurtured by the Telugu movie fans for their heroes. It is being said that the numerous pressing of ‘spam’ button on YouTube was the reason for takedown of the video. Now imagine who else but fans of heroes could do such act.

Baahubali is a film that comes once in a lifetime. When such films are made they must be seen beyond the usual ‘fanism’ that one normally indulges in. The success of a film like Baahubali is necessary for film industry (in general irrespective of hero) to take that giant leap. We hope all the fans irrespective of their partiality towards their heroes come forward to make this epic truly epic.
