The biggest commercial filmmaker in the history of Indian cinema, S. S. Rajamouli is celebrating his birthday today, and naturally, all eyes are on his upcoming film with Mahesh Babu.
This project, which is currently in production, has already missed two crucial dates. There was no major update on Mahesh Babu’s birthday on August 9, and even today on Rajamouli’s birthday, nothing big has been revealed.
The team already had two perfect chances to drop winning material, but they seem to be holding everything for a big update in November. According to internal sources, the film’s title is expected to be unveiled then. However, just a title reveal may not be enough to sustain the hype. The rumored title Varanasi has already evoked mixed reactions.
Since this will be the first major update from the Rajamouli-Mahesh project, fans are expecting a strong video reveal to match the massive expectations. Rajamouli, being a perfectionist who aims for nothing less than the best, will only release footage once he’s completely satisfied with it.
Whatever the strategy, Rajamouli must make a strong impact with this update. Once the video drops, the buzz will skyrocket and this Mahesh Babu film will be off to a flying start.
