Kiccha Sudeep had kick started the promotions of his own directorial movie Maanikya, remake of Prabhas starer Mirchi. Having worked with Rajamouli closely in Eega, looks like Sudeep has got heavily inspired with his promotional ideas. Same as he did for Eega, the actor will be uploading four making videos, one video each week as the movie is leading up to the audio launch. Also the template reminds us Baahbubali making video. First one he released ‘The Making Part One (Technicians)’ garnered good response. First making video he dedicated to the technicians and even had a note from Sudeep himself “This film has been a wonderful experience. So here I am, wanting to share it with you. Join me in this journey and witness it part by part. Here is the first welcome to my world – Kiccha.”
The first making video also shows the set built for Rajamouli’s Maryada Ramanna. It is heard that Sudeep made some significant changes to the ‘Mirchi’ script. Satyaraj played the role of Prabhas father in Telugu version but in Kannada remake Ravichandaran replaces him as Sudheep’s brother. Ramya Krishna will be seen in a key role as well.
