The countdown has officially begun for S.S. Rajamouli‘s Varanasi. Just a while ago makers has posted a simple yet exciting “250 Days to Go” post on social media, signaling that the film is firmly on course for its scheduled release.

What makes this countdown particularly interesting is Rajamouli’s track record. His films which were released upto now has been never delivered as scheduled except Baahubali 2 which Stayed on schedule once officially dated.

Now, Varanasi seems to be following Baahubali 2 path. The makers have not only retained the announced release date but have also officially kicked off the countdown with 250 days remaining, indicating that production and post-production are moving according to plan.

If the film continues on its current trajectory, Varanasi could become one of the few Rajamouli blockbusters to arrive exactly as scheduled.With the countdown officially underway, expectations are only getting bigger.
