Hit Telugu film Maryada Ramanna starring Sunil has been remade into Tamil. The film titled Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham stars leading Tamil cinema comedian Santhanam as hero. This is also incidentally his first film as hero. Srinath has directed this remake in Tamil which has Ashna Zaveri as heroine. Music of the film has been released today.
A look at the trailer would reveal that most of the set up has been retained as it is and the story structure too is the same. However there seems to be a little bit of modifications in the comedy sequences that come in the first half of the film or during the train journey. Santhanam looks confident in his debut as hero but one has to wait and see if he can bring in the timidity exhibited by Sunil’s character in the original.
