70s Backdrop Investigative Thriller on the Way

We were one among the early birds that guessed Rajasekhar is following a strategy working with the young talents and it began with Praveen Sattaru for ‘PSV Garudavega’ and now with Prashanth Varma of ‘Awe’ fame.

Prashanth Varma is busy with the Telugu remake of ‘Queen’ and his next will be with Rajasekhar. The veteran actor was mighty impressed with the role of an investigative cop and the story is set in the 70s backdrop. Sounds interesting! Playing a cop is like a child play for Rajasekhar and he has got most of his hits when he played a cop.

Going by the director’s debut film credits, we can expect something different in terms of the characterization and one must agree that the 70s backdrop seems to be more interesting after we have seen films like ‘Rangasthalam’ where the period flavor adds in the extra spice when the flow of the narrative is superbly handled.
