Rajendra Prasad’s One More Blunder: Vishal Demands Apology

A fresh controversy has erupted after senior Telugu actor Rajendra Prasad made a remark about legendary Tamil actor and former Chief Minister MG Ramachandran, popularly known as MGR. His comment has drawn strong reactions from the Tamil film industry and fans across social media.

The incident took place during the Kalaprapoorna Kantharao National Award event held in Hyderabad. While speaking at the function, Rajendra Prasad was praising the legendary Telugu actor Kantha Rao, who was widely known for his folklore films. While appreciating Kantha Rao’s acting talent and popularity during his time, Rajendra Prasad made a controversial statement claiming that even MGR used to feel intimidated by Kantha Rao’s performances.

During his speech, he used a phrase suggesting that MGR “used to piss in his pants watching Kantha Rao’s acting.” This particular wording immediately sparked outrage, as many people felt it was highly disrespectful toward MGR, who is regarded as a cultural icon in Tamil Nadu.

Tamil actor Vishal reacted strongly to the statement and posted a message on social media asking Rajendra Prasad to apologize. Vishal said that MGR is not just a film star, but a leader and a figure deeply respected by Tamil people. According to him, praising one legendary actor should never involve insulting another.

The controversy has gained more attention because Rajendra Prasad has recently been involved in a few other incidents that also drew heavy backlash, including remarks about Brahmanandam and a viral video where he appeared to push away a boy asking for a selfie.

Following the MGR remark, many Tamil fans have expressed anger online and are demanding a public apology from Rajendra Prasad.

One Tamil fan wrote, “This is ridiculous and totally unacceptable claim from Rajendra Prasad about our greatest MGR ayya. You can praise Kantha Rao garu but don’t ridicule another legend for that, as if you have personally seen it. The Tamil film industry must condemn his statement and make him apologize and withdraw the comment.”

As of now, he has not issued any official clarification or response.
