Rajinikanth Confirms the Director’s Genuineness

The plagiarism charges against the makers Wunderbar Films and the director Pa Ranjith of Rajinikanth’s upcoming movie ‘Kaala’ had come up for the hearing before a city court in Chennai. One K. Rajasekharan made these charges on ‘Kaala’.

The assistant director of the film filed a counter affidavit with Rajinikanth’s statement. It says that the ‘Kabali’ director penned the story of this film. The title ‘Karikalan’ wasn’t registered and even if it were registered by Rajasekharan, the registration lapsed log back and the writer didn’t renew the registration.

The next hearing on the case was posted on 26th of this month. ‘Karikalan’ is the name of Rajinikanth’s character in the film not the title of the film. The heroine of the film, Huma Qureshi has joined the shooting of the film in Chennai for a two-month long schedule.
