Rajinikanth’s Dilemma: To Be or Not to Be

Rajinikanth seldom comes out to promote his films except for a few occasions like the teaser launch, poster launch, trailer launch or pre-release events of his upcoming movies. But in Bollywood, the stars have to take forward their movie through extensive promotions traveling across the country reaching out to the audiences living in different regions.

Akshay Kumar is anyway looking after the promotions in the North belt that is crucial for the Hindi version of ‘2.O’. But, the makers want to get Rajinikanth on the board for promoting the costliest movie ever made in Indian Cinema. They are hoping big way that Rajini joins Akshay Kumar in the promotional events and activities the makers had planned. They are yet to get the nod from the superstar. We know that the makers had spent Rs. 500 crores plus and hence, promoting the movie properly and ensuring that the movie gets revenue from all the sources is compulsory.

‘2.O’ has to secure the highest number of theatres possible and there is a competition awaiting the movie in the form of ‘Creed 2’ starring Sylvester Stallone. It’s not an easy thing for the makers who had invested big money and their wish that Rajinikanth come on board promote the movie along with Akshay Kumar is quite justifies, isn’t it?
