Rajinikanth Politely Puts Down His Foot, Says No To It

The coronavirus cases are not slowing down in the country, but the movies and stars are getting back to sets. Many films across the various industries have resumed shoot.

When the same was conveyed to Superstar Rajinikanth, he apparently has conveyed to the makers politely that he won’t. He has put a firm foot down. Superstar Rajinikanth has conveyed that he is absolutely in no hurry and would resume shoot only when the vaccines are out.

Age is an important reason for Superstar Rajinikanth. He is around 70 years. The is a cause for grave danger if contracted with the virus in this age. The recent unfortunate demise of SP Balasubrahmanyam could have further strengthened his decision.

Annaatthe is a rural family drama featuring a large ensemble cast. It can’t be shot with limited artists. It is, therefore, a right decision from the Superstar. The makers have no choice and they too are aware of the predicament.

Siva of Viswasam fame directs Annaatthe. Sun Pictures produces it. The movie was initially slated to hit screens for Diwali. Later it got postponed to Sankranthi 2021. Now, it looks like moving to summer 2021.
