Rajinikanth will once again reprise the role of a gangster. According to some speculations, Rajinikanth’s role would be lightly based on the real life gangster Haji Mastan who ruled the hearts of poor people as a leader with his own style. He was a smuggler in Mumbai.

However, the latest reports say that the film unit denied the above reports on Haji Mastan. Though Rajinikanth is going to essay the character of a gangster, it wouldn’t be the life of the Mumbai smuggler. This movie is going to be bankrolled by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films.
