I didn’t stand surety for any one -Rajnikanth

The case seems to be a bit complicated and confusing even. Rajnikanth has earlier filed a case against Varsha Productions for using his name in the title ‘Main Hoon Rajnikanth’ and got the film release delayed by court order. Yet in another cheque bounce case, Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya’s father-in-law, Kasthuri Raja (Dhanush’s father) failed to pay Rs.65 lakhs to one financer Bothra.

This Bothra now alleges that he has pledged the huge amount to Kasthuri Raja on surety from Rajinikanth. Hence he approached the court in Varsha Productions case impleading himself as the third party to the case. As Rajni has restrained Varsha Productions from using his name and style by the makers, he should have restrained his relative Kasturi Raja from using his name for obtaining loans.

In an affidavit on the impleading application of Bothra, Rajnikanth explained that he didn’t stand surety for any of his relatives and Bothra, as a third party has no connection whatsoever with Varsha Productions ‘Main Hoon Rajinikanth’ movie case. Henceforth Rajni totally alienated himself from he cheque bounce case of Dhanush’s father.
