What was the reason for its debacle? Popular cartoonist cum writer Mallik revealed the reason behind this. RGV wanted to promote the film using Mallik’s cartoons as he wanted to make the audiences understand that it’s a comedy movie coming after a hugely successful movie like ‘Shiva’.

But, RGV couldn’t convince his producers to use Mallik’s cartoons for promotions. Audiences went to theaters with high expectations as this was RGV’s movie after ‘Shiva’. However, ‘Kshanam Kshanam’ was not a serious movie like ‘Shiva’ and hence couldn’t reach the expectations of the audiences. It’s the publicity that killed the movie opines Mallik.
