After three back-to-back duds, actor Ram Pothineni is desperately in search of a hit and for the same he has been banking on a suitable director. He has finally decided to team up with Gopichand Malineni, who is high on Balupu success, hoping to revive his career.
Gopichand said that the film will be an action entertainer and will go on floors from February onwards. He added that the subject has been written in such a way that it will suit Ram’s screen image. He added that he is confident to give Ram his much needed hit. The rest of the cast is yet to be finalized but according to rumour mills, Hansika is likely to be paired opposite Ram in the film.
Ram’s last outing Masala turned out to be a box-office dub despite the presence of Venkatesh. The film, which was a remake of Hindi film Bol Bachchan, couldn’t recreate the success of the original.
