Ram Pothineni Fined for Smoking in Public

Smoking in a public place is an offense that can call for a fine. The same thing happened when Ram Pothineni, the protagonist of ‘iSmart Shankar‘ was caught smoking near Charminar while shooting for his movie.

He was fined ₹ 200/- for smoking on a public place and that news has made its place on social media. That only means, more buzz for his upcoming Puri Jagannadh directorial that was moved to a later date on 18th July from the earlier scheduled release on 12th July.

By the way, Ram has been maintaining that swag of a typical street smart guy and that showed off in the tweet he posted to announce the change in the release date using the words ‘adhe thopu adhe vuupu’ reflecting the mood of the film.

It’s an out-and-out mass entertainer and a crucial film for Puri Jagan. He needs to deliver this time. So far, the buzz around the movie is good not because of the content but the music and of course, the mass element that might spring a surprise.
