Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana: Part I has generated considerable attention following the release of its trailer. The film is currently in the post-production phase, with the makers working towards its scheduled release. The team has announced November 6, 2026 as the international release date.
However, a surprising twist has now emerged regarding the film’s Indian release. While audiences across international markets are set to witness the epic on November 6, producer Namait Malhotra has reportedly revealed that the film will arrive in India two days later, on November 8.
The decision is unusual for a major Indian film, as Indian audiences will have to wait two additional days after the international release. It also means that the film’s content will already be in circulation in overseas markets before its domestic theatrical debut.
For the Indian market, November 8 is Diwali, giving the film a major festival window despite being a Sunday release. The two-day gap between the international and Indian premieres is likely to remain a talking point as the release approaches.
