Namit Malhotra’s Ramayana: Release Date Confusion Cleared

There has been a lot of confusion around the release date of Namit Malhotra’s Ramayana: Part One, with different dates being discussed for India and overseas markets. The film will not release on the same day in every territory, as the overseas rollout has been planned according to the release calendars of individual markets.

The Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Sai Pallavi starrer will have previews in India and North America on November 4, followed by the official release on November 5. The film is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra.

So, the current worldwide schedule is:

India: November 4 previews, November 5 official release

North America: November 4 previews, November 5 official release

Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, Middle East, Germany, Rest of Europe and Latin America: November 5

UK, South Africa and Mauritius: November 6

China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong: Yet to be confirmed

Therefore, November 5 is the main worldwide release date for Ramayana: Part One across most major markets. November 4 is only the preview day for India and North America, while November 6 is the official release date in the UK, South Africa and Mauritius.

So, while the film’s release dates vary slightly across territories, November 5 remains the primary worldwide release date.
