Rana Not in Hurry Running to OTTs

Among other movies, Rana’s ‘Virata Parvam’ and a couple of his other projects couldn’t be finished obviously due to corona lockdown. Now that, he has to resume shootings, will his ‘Virata Parvam’ go for an OTT release?

That’s a million-dollar question and according to the available information, one of the big OTT players approached the production house for a direct digital release for ‘Virata Parvam‘. They wanted to get digital rights for the film.

But, Suresh Productions didn’t take the offer as they want to wait till the theatres reopen. Moreover, there is 50% of the shooting yet to be done. It would be too early to decide for a direct OTT release.

The film is directed by Venu Udugula and he is also of the same opinion same as the producers regarding selling digital rights.
