Rana going back to Department director

Rana Daggubati’s two magnum opuses ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Rudramadevi’ are almost going to be completed and its time that Rana moved on with other new projects. A couple of projects were discussed with Rana’s name like ‘Chuttaalabbaayi’ but Rana chose to opt out. Rana is still running short of success in Tollywood as a solo hero.

The latest update is regarding Rana teaming up with maverick director Ram Gopal Varma. The duo have already paired for the Bollywood superhit movie ‘Department’. And according to the sources, the actor is excited to do another film with similar theme in Telugu. As one knows that RGV is adept at handling such genres, it is no surprise that Rana was happy with the subject offered to him and looking forward for the take off.

The crime thriller would be produced by Ramesh Varma and Naveen Mathi. The pre-production work is on and more details on the movie would come as an official announcement from the makers of the movie are awaited. The crime thriller is most probably will be in the back ground of gangsters’ wars. Heroine is yet to be finalised for this untitled project.
