One, however, needs to keep in mind that it might not be a typical party blaster that we are so used to these days. “Yentha Sakkagunnave” has an old world charm attached to its melody along with a total laidback attitude. It is the kind of song that is to be heard in silence with eyes closed, not played around with loud noise to dance.
The lyrics are excellent, and the tune is catchy, and the melody is sure to stick after a while which makes the song a winner. Devi Sri Prasad has done an excellent job singing the song, but despite best efforts, he might be a hindrance for repeat listening as a standalone single. Apart from that issue, “Yentha Sakkagunnave” is a winner and one that would have a much longer appeal beyond the immediate release. Rangasthalam hit screens worldwide on March 30th.
