A rather interesting casting buzz is doing the rounds around Ravi Teja and Vivek Athreya’s upcoming film. The latest talk suggests that JD Chakravarthy could be considered for the antagonist role, potentially setting up an interesting face-off with Ravi Teja.
The combination itself is enough to grab attention. Ravi Teja and JD Chakravarthy have very different screen personalities, and putting them against each other could give Vivek Athreya plenty of scope to create something unusual. Rather than going for a routine mass villain, JD could bring a different flavour to the conflict if the role is indeed locked.
The project is currently in the casting stage, with the makers planning to take it to the floors soon. The title Thulabhaaram is also reportedly under consideration, though that too is yet to be officially confirmed.
For now, the JD Chakravarthy casting remains only a buzz. But if this combination materialises, Ravi Teja facing JD on screen could be one of the more unexpected casting choices in Vivek Athreya’s film
