Lokesh Kanagaraj’s G Squad and Mythri Movie Makers have collaborated for their upcoming project RX, starring Regena Cassandra in the lead, with Nassar, Ramesh Thilak and Sreeja Ravi in important roles. The makers unveiled the film’s first-look poster on the occasion of Diwali.
Set against the backdrop of a crowded train, the poster features Regena in a saree, surrounded by fellow passengers. Her serious expression and composed appearance are central to the poster. The ECG-inspired visual elements, along with the tagline “Truth Always Demands a Voice!”, suggest a narrative involving truth and conflict.
Directed by Vishal Venkat, RX is based on a story by Hariharan Raju. The project also marks another association for Mythri Movie Makers in Tamil cinema, following its ventures with films such as Good Bad Ugly and Modha Raathiri.
Hesham Abdul Wahab is composing the music, while SK Selvakumar handles the cinematography. The film’s shooting has been completed, and the makers have released the first-look poster as part of its promotions.
