Regret of ANR’s Daughter Susheela

The tragic death of veteran actor Akkineni Nageshwara Rao seemed to come as a great loss for everyone in the industry. However, remarks made by ANR’s daughter is painting a completely different picture altogether. Naga Susheela, daughter of Akkineni Nageswara Rao attended a condolence meet organized at the Film Chamber in the honour of the departed actor.

It is at this platform that Naga susheela expressed regret over the industry’s indifference regarding the late actor’s acclaims. She said various film personalities including various actors, directors, producers and other technicians who were present at the condolence meet had not cared to respond when ANR was awarded the Padma Vibushan. So it was very sad for Naga susheela that her father was being praised only after his death.

Even R Narayana Murthy displayed his anguish at ANR not getting the Bharat Ratna due to the interference of some political parties and demanded that he be granted the award posthumously. Sumanth and Sushant made a brief speech and thanked every one for the condolences.
