Remake Of Malayalam Hit Launched With Promising Cast

Siddhu Jonnalagadda of Guntur Talkies fame has been making clever moves with his script choices of late. After starring in the slice-of-life drama Krishna and His Leela the actor has now surprised one and all as he will be starring in the Telugu remake of Malayalam Blockbuster Kappela.

Along with Sidhu, it will star Arjun Das as the baddie, seen as the antagonist in Karthi’s Khaidi. The film is being bankrolled by the prestigious banner Sithara Entertainments, which is known for its quality and top-notch production values.

The film was officially launched today in the city with the formal pooja ceremony. Trivikram Srinivas was present on the occasion, where he sounded the clapboard. Who the actress will be is awaited in this hit remake. Buzz is that two actresses hailing from Mollywood are in consideration and one will be finalized soon.

The yet-to-be-title flick is being helmed by debutant Shourie Chandrasekhar T Ramesh. The original created ripples for its plot and great acting chops, so huge expectations are from the remake. It is to be seen if it will be a faithful remake or not.
