Actor Sanjay Dutt, who was sent to prison for his involvement in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case, may finally expect to get a reprieve soon. From what we have heard on the grapevine, the deemed Munnabhai actor has not long ago submitted a parole application for a treatment. It is important here to note that the actor is currently serving his three-and-a-half year prison sentence in Yerwada Jail in Pune. The parole application was submitted by Dutt about twenty days ago for the treatment of an undisclosed ailment and is reportedly in the stage of processing.
In the meantime, the family of actor Sanjay Dutt which includes his wife Manyata Dutt and two sisters Priya and Namrata Dutt had been excitedly looking forward to seing the actor on the festival of Rakshabandhan. But since this didn’t happen, the two sisters will now courier their rakhis to Sanjay.
