RGV fears legal issues from her!

Filmmaking is not an easy job and certainly not where legal matters are concerned. It is therefore no wonder that the makers of Killing Veerappan, directed by Ramgopal Varma are being cautious and taking all precautionary measuring to prevent the film falling into legal disputes.

In the past director AMR Ramesh went through a lot of legal problems because of Veerappan’s wife Muthulakshmi during the release of his film Attahasa in 2013 which was ultimately resolved when through Supreme Court order he agreed to pay her a sum of 25 lakhs.

In the case of Killing Virappan, an agreement was made between the director RGV and Muthulakshmi when the film was originally planned. However, the agreement has now lapsed and the makers are now taking a legal route as RGV thinks she may create issues before the release. RGV is trying to avoid any disturbances close to the release date of the film by taking care of her ahead of the release.
