This weekend is going to be a busy one for the Tollywood audience as multiple films are arriving at the ticket counters in this period.
One of the notable films that are arriving at the box office, this weekend is Nithiin and Sree Leela’s Robinhood. This film is arriving in theatres on March 28, and the promotional campaign is in full swing.
Point to be noted about this comedy entertainer is that it has multiple stakes aligned with it. In particular, Nithiin, Leela and director Venky Kudumula have a lot riding on it.
It has been a while since Nithiin delivered a hit and same is the case with Leela as well. Both of them are in great need of commercials success at the box office.
Nithiin is hoping to repeat Bhishma magic with Venky this time around and he is super hopeful of the same. He has returned to his safe genre of comedy entertainment this time and it has to be see if it’d payoff for him.
Leela had a breather in the form of Guntur Kaaram but it didn’t quite revive her career. She later had Pushpa 2’s Kissik song. Her glamour feast was enjoyed by all but she still needs a solid film to revive her career.
Venky Kudumula too needs a hit to reprive his career as he had been virtually idle since Bhishma. Only a success here with Robinhood could propel him to more fame and get him closer to gaining the dates of other heroes.
In total, the career graphs of three individuals is directly dependent on this film and it has to be seen if their efforts would pay off. The makers are confident that the trailer worked the trick for the film and it would do the job at the box office.
