RRR’s Naatu Naatu Is An Eye Feast, But Disappoints Musically

Here comes the much anticipated and awaited ‘mass single’ from RRR. Naatu Naatu is a mass dance number that brings together the two of the best dancers in Telugu cinema, Jr NTR and Ram Charan. It is an eye feast for everyone.

The small glimpse of ‘Naatu Naatu’ provided before the complete release of the single had already kept the expectations in check as far as music is concerned. MM Keeravani has delivered an old-school, serviceable mass number for RRR. It is on the expected lines, and there is nothing to say about it. Even with a beforehand preparation ‘mentally’, there is bound to be a disappointment, though, due to the ordinariness of the tune.

But, the real highlight of ‘Naatu Naatu’ is the presence and dancing of two stars, Jr NTR and Ram Charan, together. It is a visual feast. The small glimpses we get at the beginning and end are sure to make fans go wild. Apart from them, there are small bits in the making video in between that will raise the expectations on the whole single ‘visually’ to the next level.

The biggest takeaway is the comfort and rapport seen between Jr NTR and Ram Charan. They look effortless dancing together and seems to bring out the best in each other. The few frames with the two together dancing like a dream will be etched in the fans memory for a long time to come.
