The artificial intelligence advancement has been largely beneficial for many people to enhance their skills. But there are these bunch of people on social media who are using it to prepare derogatory stuff.
Particularly there is this one particular group on social media, which uses AI to create obscene pictures and videos of actresses. Sadly, talented actress Rukmini Vasant had to fall prey to the same as there were a series of videos and photos featuring her which went viral yesterday.
It was publicised that Rukmini Vasant had taken part in a bold swimming pool shoot and related pictures were shared by an unverified handle on Twitter. This imagery quickly went viral on social media and there was outburst on the same as people were shocked to see the actress in such an obscene avatar.
However, the actress has reacted on this matter now, and she confirmed that these pics and videos are indeed AI generated.
“My team and I have come across certain AI-generated images being circulated online claiming to be me. I want to state clearly that these images are entirely fake and fabricated.
We are taking this matter seriously and initiating the necessary legal and cybercrime action against those involved in creating and spreading these images.” The actress posted a little while back.
After watching this AI generated stuff portraying her in an obscene look, Rukmini has rightly reacted strongly to this matter, and she has confirmed that legal action has been initiated. It is sad to see actresses having to undergo situations, but when something like this does happen, strong reciprocal action needs to be taken and that’s precisely what Rukmini is doing now.
