Rajamouli Rejected Endorsing Allu Aravind’s Wrong Statements?

During the making of ‘Magadheera’, Rajamouli had a word with the producer Allu Aravind that they wouldn’t endorse the wrong count of theatres just for the sake of hype and to appease the fans for the sake of box-office numbers.

In the past, the producers used to add a number of theaters on demand from fans only to create hype and project their film bigger than it really is. When NTR’s ‘Simhadri’ ran for hundred days in record count of theaters, Rajamouli was overwhelmed. But then, the makers added more theaters only to run it for 175 days.

He didn’t like this. He warned about the same, Allu Aravind consented to this and told Rajamouli that he wouldn’t do the same for ‘Magadheera’. Without regard to that consent, even Allu Aravind had to increase the number of theaters on fans demand.

Rajamouli had reservations to endorse the fake collections and number of theaters. That’s the reason why he skipped the 100 days function of ‘Magadheera’.
