Saaho Prabhas – Openings Only Behind Baahubali Prabhas

Saaho has recorded excellent collections all over on the opening day. It is universal across the country barring Tamil Nadu and Kerala. It is decent in those latter areas.

In the Telugu areas, Rebel Star Prabhas’s Saaho has managed to become the first film outside Baahubali 2 to cross 30 Cr share. Saaho has minted nearly 36 Cr (in share). It has set new area records in Nizam and Nellore surpassing the previous best Baahubali 2.

Coming to Hindi, Saaho has lived up to the pre-release expectations and collected nearly 24.50 Cr. It is the third biggest opening of the year after Bharat (a Holiday release) and Mission Mangal (holiday release). It is the tenth biggest opening if we take only non-holiday releases into account.

In Karnataka, the Telugu version of Saaho dominated everything and put a massive number. It has comfortably gone past 10 Cr Gross.

Saaho had a below par openings in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. These areas needed a strong word of mouth to pick up, but that might not happen now given the talk.

Overall, Saaho has collected more than 100 Cr Gross across India, including all the languages. It is the second-best and only behind Baahubali 2. What is exciting is only Prabhas has two 100 Cr gross movies on an opening day in India.
