Safer Hyd :Drunk driving offenders rewarded Jail

The Police reforms under Telangana government seem to be going in a great direction. The City is very soon becoming a safe place to live in especially with good policing. In the last two and a half months, the city had set a National record by jailing 587 drunk drivers. This is a record in imprisoning the most offenders in the shortest period.

More than 5,500 drunk drivers have been caught in the first three months of this year. Recently the Traffic Police data is also being integrated with Road Transport Department database so that the driving licenses of the offenders can be cancelled.
