Ever since the biopic on Indian Badminton sensation Saina Nehwal was announced there has been enough curiosity on it. The addition of names Amol Gupte and Shraddha Kapoor took it to a new level.

But, all that was a very long ago, and it was followed by an unusual amount of silence making one think if the project is indeed happening or not. The failure of some of Shraddha Kapoor films during that period gave ominous signs. However, it changed recently with the blockbuster success of Stree. Immediately, an official announcement regarding the biopic was made. And today, we have the first look.
