Prabhas and Prashanth Neel’s Salaar had a seven run at the box office. The stage is now set for the OTT release of the actioner and here is an intersting report that is going viral on social media.
According to reports, the post theatrical OTT rights of Salaar are with Netflix and the film will be made available for streaming on the platform from the 16th of February.
While it is already known that Netflix is the OTT streaming partner of Salaar, there is yet no official word on the actual release date. But the social media buzz is that the film will stream from 16 February.
This will mean that Salaar is releasing on Netflix nearly 7 weeks post theatrical release date which is about standard window for big ticket films on Netflix.
Salaar is a mass commercial potboiler and it has a handful of heavy duty action blocks which have repeat value. So Netflix certainly does have a prospective film in Salaar.
