Salman doesn’t need our ‘Kick 2’?

The makers of Bollywood ‘Kick’ are highly excited that their hero Salman has cracked up an excellent idea for the sequel of the film. This isn’t a new angle for B’Town folks as Salman Khan has already penned down a script way back in 2010 for his movie ‘Veer’. This time Salman Khan is pretty busy shooting for three films back to back.

Hence there is no particular timeline for Salman to complete weaving the story idea and they go on to write the script for ‘Kick 2’. He will take his own time and the movie would happen with the same leading star cast and to be directed by Sajid Nadiadwala, the producer-director of ‘Kick’ in Hindi.

Recently there had been reports that a couple of producers from Bollywood were keen on Surender Reddy and Ravi Teja’s combo ‘Kick 2’. Even though the film is under production, they were keen to get the remake rights for Salman Khan. But director Surender Reddy who was not happy with ‘Kick’s Hindi version had apprehensions and wanted the remake to happen on his own terms.

Now that Salman has come up with his own story idea, it would be obvious that the Bollywood makers of the sequel wouldn’t need our Telugu story. It is too early to state anything till the release of Telugu sequel. If it turns out to be better than Salman’s idea, the Bollywood makers might choose otherwise.
