Salman's Jail – Will there be any surprise?

The 2002 ‘hit and run case’ of Bollywood star hero Salman Khan is presently under trail in Bombay High Court. The prosecution has concluded its arguments and appealed to the High Court not to show any leniency to the star as such cases would make a bad example for the drunken and drive cases.

While the prosecution isn’t buying the argument of the Salman’s counsel of the actor’s innocence in the culpable homicide and involvement of his driver Ashok Singh, Salman’s lawyers are sticking to the point, on why the primary witness, singer Kamaal Khan wasn’t questioned in the case.

Though the star hero was convicted by the Sessions Court, there might be some surprises in the arguments in the High Court eventually. We saw a Bollywood kind of entry of Salman’s driver Ashok Singh in the last moments of arguments in Sessions Court. Will singer Kamaal Khan turn up for the sake of actor in the present set of arguments? One never knows what would happen. Nevertheless, chances of a surprise are in abundance.
